Red Ball Oxygen Co., Inc. is a privately owned distributor of Industrial, Specialty, and Medical Gases, welding and industrial equipment, and safety supplies. We have 23 retail operations in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma with packaged gas production capabilities in Shreveport, LA, Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and Houston, TX. We are looking for an outgoing, energetic, Customer Service Representative for our Corporate location.

A customer service representative at Red Ball Oxygen involves numerous accounts receivable tasks such as posting the various types of payments customers send in including credit card, checks, ACH, and lockbox processed payments.  This person will then have to apply payments to customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies between payment amounts and customer statement balances.  They will also set up customer accounts by processing credit applications and running their credit in Dun and Bradstreet as well as Transunion.  They will then decide and monitor customer credit limits based on credit references and timely payment history.  The employee must resolve product and/or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determine the cause of the problem, select and explain the best solution to solve the problem, expedite the correction, and follow up to ensure resolution. This person must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.  Efficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
